Venn Can I Eat? #2 Trendy in Vancouver

May 10, 2016: I know this may not be unique to Vancouver (I was recently in Portland).  I honestly can’t remember the the last time I walked into buzzy restaurant that DID NOT have a bearded, tatted up bartender/barista/server telling me about a special edition and limited in quantity item because the main ingredient is seasonally grown/made, only culled/made once a year, single origin, comes from a special region or in some cases, all of the above.

Sounds about right doesn’t it or maybe I’m just dining out at too many Hipster joints.
